Livecast Support - FAQ - Blogging
1. What is a Blog?
A Blog (Web Log) is an online journal that usually is frequently updated. Blogs run the gamut from personal diaries to news and editorial content. Blogs usually allow for viewer participation in the form of comments.
2. How do I set up a Blog?

You will need to register with a Blog service provider. We currently support automated posting to Typepad, Wordpress Bogging sites as well as YouTube. Once you have set up a Blog or YouTube account, you will need to provide some information in order for Livecast to interact with your Blog.

From a mobile device:

Go to the MY ACCOUNT screen, select ACCOUNT SUMMARY. When you get to your account page, click on the BLOG SET-UP link. Fill out the information here.

From online PC:

Sign in at www.livecast.com. From the MY VIDEO tab, select BLOG & YOUTUBE SETUP and click on the SET UP A NEW BLOG link. Follow links and fill out the information here.

Now you can notify anyone going to your Blog of live or on-demand liuvecasts. You can also embed the livecast directly in your Blog (see Embed Video Code).

3. My Blog service provider isn't listed, can I add it?
Not at this time. However, you can manually post a link or embed the live stream in your Blog as an alternative.
4. When I publish my livecast to my Blog, what happens?

When you choose to post the livecast to your Blog, the software automatically signs into your Blog and provides a link to the livecast.

Alternatively, if your livecast is saved, the link it can be posted to your Blog at any time via MY VIDEO.
