Livecast Support - FAQ - Contacts and Notification
1. How do I add contacts?
 

From a mobile device:

Select the MY ACCOUNT tab in Livecast and click on CONTACTS. Select ADD NEW and fill in the information.

From online PC:

Sign in at www.livecast.com. Select the MY CONTACTS tab. Select ADD NEW and fill in the information.

2. How do I notify people about my livecast?
 

From a mobile device:

From the LIVECAST screen, START your livecast. Select the group you wish to notify and click SHARE. A link to your livecast will be sent to all contacts in the group.

3. Can I notify people during my livecast?
  Yes. You can notify different groups at any time during the livecast. Simply select the contact(s) you wish to notify (from livecast screen) and click SHARE.
4. How do I find out the SMS number of a contact?
 

Ask the contact, or go to http://www.notepage.net/smtp.htm for a list of network providers and their SMS protocol.

It is typically the phone number @ the network address Example: phonenumber@vodafone.net

5. Can I use a standard SMS phone number (i.e. +1 234 567 8900)?
  Yes. Notifications can be sent via standard SMS.
6. Can I import my contacts from Outlook and Messenger?
 

Yes.

From online PC:

Save your contacts from Outlook and Messenger locally. Sign in at www.livecast.com. Select MY CONTACTS. Follow the directions under IMPORT CONTACT LIST.
